Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site also uses your browser's local and session storage, which work in a similar way, so this policy covers both. It applies to techloinno.com and sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

1. How consent works here

Non-essential cookies are opt-in. Until you choose, Google Tag Manager, which loads our analytics and advertising tags, isn't loaded at all. When you accept, only the categories you accepted are switched on, and Google's tags are told your choice through Google Consent Mode. Your choice is saved in your browser and applies on every visit until you change it or clear your browser data.

2. Strictly necessary

These keep the site working and remember the choices you make on it. They don't track you, and they don't need consent.

  • tl-consent (local storage, kept until you change it): remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask on every page.
  • tl-estimate (session storage, cleared when you close the tab): carries a pricing-calculator estimate into the contact form when you ask it to.
  • _GRECAPTCHA (cookie, up to 6 months, set by Google): spam protection on the contact form. It only loads once you start filling the form in.

3. Analytics, only with consent

Google Analytics 4 helps us see which pages people read and where they leave. It sets _ga and _ga_<container-id>, both kept for up to 2 years. We use the figures in aggregate to improve the site, and we don't use them to identify you.

4. Advertising, only with consent

These measure whether our own ads on Google and Meta lead to enquiries. They can also let those platforms show our ads to people who have visited the site.

  • Google Ads: _gcl_au and related _gcl cookies, kept for up to 90 days.
  • Meta Pixel: _fbp and _fbc, kept for up to 90 days.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising cookies and of any sale or sharing of personal information, even if you've accepted them before.

5. Third-party embeds

The booking calendar on our Schedule page is provided by Calendly and loads from Calendly's own site. When you use it, Calendly may set cookies it needs to run the scheduler, under Calendly's cookie policy. If you'd rather not, email us to arrange a time instead.

6. Changing or withdrawing consent

Open cookie preferences with the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page and switch each category on or off. When you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics and advertising cookies we can reach on our own domain and reload the page so nothing keeps running. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same with all non-essential cookies blocked.

7. Changes

If we add a cookie or start using a new service that sets one, we update this page and its effective date first. If the change affects something you've already agreed to, we'll ask you again.
