CMS Development

WordPress and Shopify builds your team can run

A CMS should let your team publish without calling a developer, and without each new page dragging the site further down. We build custom themes rather than stacking plugins on a marketplace template, which is why our WordPress builds tend to load in about a third of the time.

Starting from
$2,800 per project
Typical timeline
2–5 weeks depending on template count

Project, no retainer

Theme builds start at $2.8k. Shopify storefronts with custom sections start at $4.5k.

What you get

Everything in scope, listed

No line item here is an upsell later. If something isn't on this list, we'll tell you before we start, not after.

  1. 01

    Custom theme or storefront

Built to your design, not a marketplace template with your logo on it.

  2. 02

    Reusable content blocks

ACF or native blocks your team composes pages from without breaking layout.

  3. 03

    Plugin audit and reduction

We replace what we can with theme code — fewer plugins, fewer breakages, less weight.

  4. 04

    Performance pass

Asset concatenation, deferred JS, WebP conversion, caching and a CDN in front.

  5. 05

    Product and content migration

Existing pages, posts and products moved across with URLs and metadata intact.

  6. 06

    Editor training

A recorded walkthrough plus a live session, so the handover actually sticks.

How we work on this

Three things we do differently

01

Fewer moving parts

Every plugin is a dependency, a security surface and a slice of load time. We ship the smallest stack that does the job, then document why each remaining piece is there.

02

Blocks, not one-off pages

We build a small library of content blocks. Your team assembles new pages from them in minutes, and the design stays consistent because it can't easily be broken.

03

Speed is a feature, not a phase

Optimisation happens as the theme is written. Retrofitting performance onto a finished build costs more and works less well.

Before you ask

Questions we get on every call

If yours isn't here, the FAQs page covers more — or just ask us directly.

Our current site is Elementor. Can you speed it up instead of rebuilding?

Often, yes. Enabling improved CSS loading, adding proper caching, converting images to WebP and pruning unused plugins usually cuts load time substantially for a fraction of a rebuild. We'll audit first and tell you honestly which is the better spend.

Will our team still be able to edit everything?

Yes — that's the point of the block library. What your team can't do is accidentally break the layout, because the blocks constrain what's editable to content rather than structure.

Do you handle hosting?

We can, or we'll set you up on Cloudflare, Kinsta or SiteGround under your own account. We don't mark up hosting.
