1. Why we publish

Our articles are there to be useful to the people who run and market small and mid-sized businesses. They're written from the delivery side of the work: what we see when we audit ad accounts, rebuild websites and set up automation. They are also, plainly, marketing for Techlo Inno. We think the best way to square those two things is to publish advice that's worth having even if you never hire us.

2. Who writes them

Every article carries a named author, and the author is someone who does the work the article describes. Their role and background are on our About page. Ideas, drafts and review all stay with the people accountable for the piece.

3. Facts, numbers and sources

  • Where a figure comes from published research, we say so, and we prefer studies that have been replicated over one-off headlines.
  • Where it comes from our own client work, we say that too, in words like 'in the accounts we audit'. That's experience, not a controlled study, and we don't present it as one.
  • Worked examples use round, made-up numbers and are labelled as examples.
  • We don't name clients or share their data without their written permission.

4. Review and updates

Platforms like Google and Meta change quickly, so we review articles when something they rely on changes. A piece's 'updated' date only moves when it has actually been reviewed or revised, never to make an old article look new.

5. Independence

When we mention tools or platforms, it's because we use them or have a view on them. If we ever have a commercial relationship with something we write about, such as a partnership or a referral fee, we'll say so in the article itself.

6. Corrections

If you spot an error, email us with the article and what's wrong. We'll check it, and if we were wrong we'll fix the article and add a dated note at the end saying what changed. Small fixes like typos and broken links are corrected without a note.
